Paul Matheson QSO JP is a former Mayor and recently deputy Mayor of Nelson and has been widely involved in many business and community organisations both locally and nationally.

Paul's interests in the sports arena are cricket and rugby but also hugely supportive of youth involvement in all sports.

NZCT has granted Motueka AFC $10,773 for two new portable goals helping the club protect its main pitches, use more training areas, and support its rapid growth.
NZCT Swings into Action for St Peter Chanel School!

New Zealand Community Trust (NZCT) has granted $9,756 to St Peter Chanel School in Motueka for new playground swings.
Lifesaving NZCT grant for Nelson club.

An $18,277 (NZCT) grant to Nelson Surf Lifesaving Club (NSLSC) for helicopter search and rescue training, first responder backpacks, and rescue boards and tubes, has ensured beachgoer safety.
