Dave retired in 2019 from his role as a relationship manager for Sport New Zealand, and has had a long involvement in sport and recreation, initially as a cricketer and secondary school teacher and coach. Later, he moved into leadership roles as CEO Harbour Sport, Manager Regional Services for the Hillary Commission and CEO of Squash New Zealand. During this time he also served in governance roles on the Boards of Equestrian New Zealand, North Harbour Stadium Trust and North Harbour Netball Trust.
After a period where he operated as a freelance consultant, Dave returned to sports management at Sport NZ and remains especially interested in how investors support volunteer organisations at community level.
Jo has over 25 years’ experience in local government in Auckland and has been involved professionally or in a governance role in the sport and recreation sector equally over that time. Jo is a member of the Auckland Sport Board, and the former Chair of Sport Auckland. She owns her own consultancy business providing strategic planning, policy, planning advice and project leadership services to the public sector and other nongovernmental organisations.
Linda grew up in Auckland and was a member of the Silver Ferns and New Zealand Under 21s over 14 years, playing 61 tests before retiring. She then went on to play for Samoa for a year in the world championships and later coached Samoa for 8 years. Competing in four Commonwealth Games and netball world championships were the highlights of Linda's netball career.
Linda is heavily involved in the community and has been leading the Duffy Books in Homes programme as General Manager for over 10 years. She is also passionate about Pasifika youth development in sport and health. Any spare time is spent in coaching and administration for netball at the regional and international levels,
Linda is on the Member Selection Panel for the Million Dollar Mission - The Trusts, a Specialist Coach for Mystics Northern Zone, a Trustee of Netball Waitakere, a Founder Member of North Shore Pasifika Inc, the Secretary of North Shore PIC Women's and a Member of the North Shore Pasifika Forum.
Martin is currently a director of New Zealand Cricket (NZC) and is leading its One Cricket project.
His previous roles included CEO of NZC, Rugby NZ 2011, Tourism Industry Association and Duco Events. In the long-ago past, he was a member of the New Zealand Cricket team during the 1980s.
