REGIONAL ADVISORY COMMITTEES

NZCT pioneered the use of Regional Advisory Committees (RACs), whose role is to contribute local insight to our grant funding decisions.

The committees are made up of highly regarded, local people who have a background in sports and a strong interest in their community. Many RAC members have served in local government either as mayors, deputy mayors, councillors or council chief executives. In considering grant applications, RAC members are guided by the amount of gaming proceeds generated in their region.
