MAKE PAYMENT PROCESSES AS SIMPLE AND TRANSPARENT AS POSSIBLE
We understand that venue operators want processes that are as straightforward and practical as possible – so that’s what we strive to deliver. Our secure ‘publicans only’ extranet (MyNZCT), enables our operators to see how well their gaming operation is performing. Amongst other things, MyNZCT provides up-to-date data about machine earnings (including daily, weekly and monthly trends), venue payments and scheduled machine changes.
UNDERSTAND VENUE OPERATORS, AND THE INFORMATION AND SERVICES THEY NEED
We spend time getting to know our venue operators and their needs, so we can give them the best service possible. Our in-house customer service centre and machine monitoring technology ensures faults are quickly and efficiently corrected. Our service centre provides 24/7 assistance via our 0800 24 7583 number. To provide the reliable, individually focussed and locally based service our operators need, we have an experienced team of regional managers who are always available.
ARE COMMITTED TO BEST PRACTICE AND COMPLIANCE
NZCT has implemented a robust business and risk framework to ensure we operate effectively and efficiently within legislative boundaries. We are committed to continuous improvement, to operating professionally and to the highest standards possible. We operate in a very complex, contentious environment so we work hard to meet our legal and business obligations and help our venue operators meet theirs. It is a legitimate right for venue operators to join NZCT because they support our grants philosophy of funding amateur sport and the wider community. However gambling legislation prohibits operators from being involved in any aspect of the grant application process.
SPEAK UP FOR OUR OPERATORS
Wherever possible, we lobby local and central government to recognise the significant role our operators play in raising funds for amateur sport and the wider community. You can see our recent submissions to councils reviewing their gambling policies here.
RETURN MONEY BACK TO THE COMMUNITIES WHERE IT IS RAISED
We believe charity begins at home, so we make sure that local community funding stays in the communities where it is raised. NZCT has established Regional Advisory Committees to offer advice on the best way to distribute these funds locally.
SUPPORT GRASS-ROOTS AMATEUR SPORT
NZCT is the backbone of amateur sport in New Zealand. Many school sports teams, community sports clubs and champion athletes would not get by without us.
